Simba smiled to himself there was a small bird in the tall grass by the watering hole and he was determined that he was going to get that bird.Crouching down low he moved slowly in a crawl with his belly touching the grass at all times. He had to be quite or the bird would run away, and he didn't want that to happen now did he.Slowly he moved on and stopped as he was about five feet from the bird.Standing up slowly he hunkered his upper body down to the ground and stuck his hind courters up into the air and wiggled his tail as he got ready to pounce.
Jumping forward he landed on top of the bird as he pushed it to the ground so he couldn't escape his grasp as he opened his mouth and roared in happiness. He never really cared for the taste of birds, he mostly just liked to play with them.Smiling to himself he pushed the bird back and forth, lifting up his paw in inches and then placing it back, making the bird think he was going to get free.
Huffing he pulled his paw from the bird and watched as it flew away quickly."That was pretty fun.",he said to himself but to any humans around it would just sound like a couple of rawrs, well unless they could speak to animals that is.
Lifting his foot up from the ground he raised it to his mouth as he gave it a good cleaning. After all he hated to be dirty sometimes. When he was finished he walked over to the watering hole but stopped dead in his tracks. He smelled a human, and they were close.Sniffing the air he hunkered down to the ground and waited.

Mercy turned around her eyes looking around, a kindness in her eyes she noticed eyes looking at her, she smiled. "Its alright little one, I wont harm you" She said softly speaking to him the way no other human could do. She spoke to animals and she was the kind of person to do everything she could for them. She looked up at the sky, wondering what was going to happen to her. One of these days an animal would probably kill her, even tho she could talk to the animals.
